About Kris Hunsaker

I have worked in construction my entire life. Both of my fathers were contractors. I have learned how to frame homes and build swimming pools. The last 15 years I've spent working for Union Pacific Railroad. What a different world that is. One thing is has showed me how to do is travel. I have walked across the states of Arizona, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada and Idaho. Yes, I said walked. Gandy Dancing is not for the faint of heart. I have worked in all but one state between Chicago Illinois and the west coast and between Canada and Mexico. UP does not own track in North Dakota. Very early in my railroading career I gained a massive distaste for motel rooms and started car camping. Earning my way into a class B sprinter van. I learned that I must be descended from gypsies. My grandmother was the same way, lived many years out of her motorhome. Many years I actually spent more nights in my van than I did in the wonderful home my wife has created for our family. She is a small woman, stands 5'3" I believe, but she manages two giant boys. Our oldest is 6'4", over a foot taller than her. I have enjoyed the outdoors my entire life in every way possible and adventure is a way of life for me. I believe in two mottos; first - add life to your years instead of years to your life, and second - don't stop living or you start dying.

About Amber Hunsaker

"I am a wife and a mother. I was blessed to be a stay at home mom with a few short stints of working once my children got older. Being home with my kids was very special to me. I loved the little adventures we were able to go on and the times I got to go to the school and volunteer with their classes and just be there for them. My husband and kids are the being of my life. Everything I do is for them. I love the ocean and the forest. The peace I get from watching and listening to the waves. The calm I feel from the smell of the earth and the wind blowing in the trees."

About Jason Cousineau

My life has never been 'normal'. I've been hiking, camping, scuba diving, rock climbing, kayaking and river riding. I've seen the land of the midnight sun and the land of the rising sun. I've been within 10 miles of the arctic circle and the equator. I've traveled to 44 of the 50 states and can't wait to get the entire set. I've slept in haunted graveyards and explored ghost towns. I'm a five year veteran of the Coast Guard and a 23 year veteran of marriage. Both are over now. I've been in IT since the turn of the century and have been working as a cloud engineer for about 6 years now. I have 4 children who are now grown and mostly out of the house. It seems about time to find some wild adventure. Join us?

Eric has degrees in graphic design and web design. He's been a web master since the turn of the century. He also works as a stablemaster and father to two young men. An adventure aficionado, he's traveled to most of the lower 48 including many places off the beaten path. He's also a podcast host and husband of twenty-five years.
